Glyph Eater

I was involved in an ongoing game project, Nexus Crisis, in which I was tasked to design and paint card art.

I drew inspiration from Hearthstone for This card art and rendered it in a semi-cartoonish art style that I felt would read well in a card game where big, blocky shapes and contrasting colors benefit the gameplay by being readable at a glance.
